Nbc reported that when Selena Gomez hosted Saturday Night Live on May 14, 2022 (Season 47), she performed a pretaped musical sketch called 'Intuition' in which her character raps about suspicions of a cheating boyfriend.

In the sketch Gomez plays a young woman who grows suspicious of her boyfriend (Chris Redd) when he leaves to buy paper towels; her suspicion manifests as a rapping devil on her shoulder played by Punkie Johnson, who urges her to search his phone, hack his Instagram, destroy the TV and throw his Xbox out the window. Redd's character's own rapping devil, played by Post Malone, suggests a late-night texter must be LeBron James. Punkie Johnson wrote the song with Rosebud Baker, Ben Silva and Will Stephen; Johnson called it a "family classic" on Instagram and credited collaborators, adding, "Don't listen to the voices in your head...It's probably my toxic ass."

Gomez also appeared in the sketches 'Old Enough! Longterm Boyfriends!,' which sent men on difficult errands such as buying specific makeup or a handful of shallots, and 'Three Daughters,' in which a prince (Mikey Day) struggles to choose among three equally normal and weird women. The piece notes that after another year or so of singledom she began dating producer Benny Blanco and they married in 2025.
