The cryptocurrency market sell‑off is prompting a shift toward blockchains with tangible business models that channel value to token holders and users rather than intermediaries or speculative order flow, Yuval Rooz said. Rooz, co‑founder and CEO of Digital Asset and creator of the Canton Network, added he is not worried about the market and that the turbulence has not driven away his core customers.

He pointed to Canton Network and derivatives exchange Hyperliquid as examples investors are favoring. Canton Network’s cryptocurrency rose 25% in the past month, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) gained 28%, per CoinGecko. Rooz argued that architecture and token design now separate projects that attract institutions.

Bridges, he said, are not true interoperability: they lock assets on one chain and mint equivalents on another, leaving funds exposed and inviting hacks as well as regulatory scrutiny.
