Sensu reimagines classic Rummy as a card game about assembling Japanese folding fans. Enrico Vicario’s design and Andrea Guerrieri’s illustrations put thick, illuminated cards at the center of play, making the components as pleasant to handle as they are to look at.

Two to five players start with two cards and can hold up to five. Card values run from 1 to 7, with some wildcards that count as 1–3 or 3–5. On your turn you either draw two cards from the deck and discard one, or pick up the top card from any player’s discard pile.

When you collect cards that total exactly 15 points you can play them to start or expand a fan. Each card represents a number of sticks—1 cards give four sticks while 5–7 and wildcards supply only one—so managing which cards you keep matters for completing seven-stick fans.
