Serie A: Inter and Milan’s title race - table and fixtures
Milan’s charge for the top spot was halted at the Olimpico as Gustav Isaksen’s 26th-minute strike gave Lazio a 1-0 win. Inter drew 1-1 with Atalanta the previous day; that result extended Inter’s lead by one point and leaves them eight points clear of Milan. Milan’s loss came after two consecutive wins, against Cremonese and in the derby with Inter.
Their next match is at San Siro against Torino. Inter must protect their eight-point advantage. They travel to Fiorentina on 22 March at 8.45pm, host Roma on 5 April at 8.45pm, then face Como away on the weekend of 11–12 April and Cagliari at home on 18–19 April.
The Nerazzurri play Como in the Coppa Italia on 21 April at 9.00 pm (first leg 0-0) and have further fixtures against Torino (25/26 April), Parma (2–3 May), Lazio (9–10 May), Verona (16–17 May) and Bologna (23–24 May). Milan aim to close the gap starting with Torino at San Siro on 21 March at 6.00 pm.
