Shia LaBeouf Interview Released Following Second New Orleans Arrest
Early on February 17, Shia LaBeouf was arrested in New Orleans after police said he caused a disturbance and became increasingly aggressive in the French Quarter. He was accused of punching people and shouting anti-gay slurs and was charged with two counts of simple battery.
On February 27 he voluntarily turned himself in to Orleans Parish Prison after an additional arrest warrant was issued for another count of simple battery related to the February 17 incident. An hour-long interview with Andrew Callaghan appeared on YouTube on February 28 and quickly passed a million views.
LaBeouf spoke about the February 17 incident, his sobriety and his relationships with Mia Goth and FKA twigs. Asked how he is, he said, "I've been having the time of my life," and added, "You know, I got some contrition on my heart... It's not nice to hurt people ever...
