Shinobi Art of Vengeance DLC adds Dr. Robotnik, Goro Majima in April

The big villains from Sonic, Golden Axe and Yakuza arrive in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance on April 3. Developer Lizardcube said the Sega Villains Stage DLC will land on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. A trailer shows Dr. Robotnik and Joe Musashi clashing in Green Hill Zone, Goro Majima fighting on Kamurochō’s rainy nighttime streets, and Death Adder looming over a throne room stage from Golden Axe.

The add-on brings three new bosses, five new stages, two Boss Rush modes, three new ninpo, three outfits and six music tracks. It is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition for $39.99, available separately for $9.99, and standard-edition owners can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for $11.99.

Also arriving April 3 is a free update that adds a new Hardcore Mode, combat adjustments and updates to character outlines, map and tutorial display features.
