Single Martha Stewart says she's a 'very good catch'
“I’m a very good catch,” Martha Stewart said at the Hudson River Park Friends 10th Annual Playground Committee Luncheon on Friday, listing her homemaking abilities as part of the reason she’d make a great partner. “I know how to cook, I know how to clean, I know how to keep a house; those are all very homemaker skills.” Asked whether she still uses a feather duster, she replied, “Of course!” and described fresh home projects: “This week I completely redid a room.
I got a new rug, we were moving furniture, it’s spring cleaning time!” When questioned about scrubbing toilets she shot back, “If they were dirty, I would scrub them,” then added, “but my toilets are not dirty!” Stewart, 84, said she is currently single because she doesn’t have time to date, noting a recent day when she left home at 6:30 a.m.
and returned at 9 p.m., and that she sometimes works more than 12 hours.
