Smallville has pushed The Lincoln Lawyer down Netflix's Worldwide Top 10; FlixPatrol placed the series at #8 on March 2. Available on Netflix outside the U.S. (the show is on Hulu in the U.S.), Smallville displaced Netflix originals including The Lincoln Lawyer and Reality Check.

The Superman prequel originally aired from 2001 to 2011 and follows a young Clark Kent (Tom Welling). Developed by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the series reworked the Superman mythos for the early 21st century, evolving from a teen "freak-of-the-week" drama into young-adult sci‑fi and a full superhero series.

Its worldbuilding reached beyond Earth to Krypton, alternate worlds and the Phantom Zone, and its cast includes Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack, Erica Durance, John Glover, Justin Hartley, Annette O'Toole and John Schneider. Smallville ran for 218 episodes, survived a move from The WB to the CW and became the longest-running sci‑fi series in North America.
