SNL returns Feb. 28 after Olympics; Connor Storrie to host
Saturday Night Live is on hiatus for the Winter Olympics and will return February 28. The last new episode aired January 31, hosted by Alexander Skarsgård, which introduced tormented luge athlete Gertie Burper (Jane Wickline) — a sketch that has stuck with viewers.
Luge wrapped up on February 12, dominated by Germany, Italy and Austria, with one bronze for Team USA. NBC and Peacock are carrying Olympic coverage all day through the closing ceremony on February 22, and three new back-to-back SNL episodes are scheduled to follow.
Connor Storrie makes his hosting debut on February 28, with Mumford & Sons as the musical guest, just after the release of their new album Prizefighter. Ryan Gosling returns to host on March 7, and the host and musical guest for the March 14 episode have not been announced.
SNL airs Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and is available the next day on Peacock, where sketches from every episode can be streamed.
