Solid Snake will be an operator in Rainbow Six Siege when the new season drops on March 3. A teaser ran in January, and a full reveal trailer arrived alongside the game's Year 11 roadmap.

The trailer also shows Snake and stealth rival Sam Fisher finally squashing the beef, with David Hayter reprising the role.

The roadmap outlines several changes: Dokkaebi will be remastered with a new primary weapon, ranked play will be overhauled, and consoles will gain keyboard-and-mouse support while being matched with PC players.

Season 2 will add a casino map based on Rainbow Six: Vegas, season 3 will introduce another operator, and a new Legend Division playlist will provide a solo queue-only leaderboard for players at Champion rank. Each season will modernize three maps and include other smaller changes, and Ubisoft has uploaded a gameplay breakdown and guide to its YouTube channel.
