Sony reportedly ending PC ports of single-player PlayStation games
Sony is reportedly pulling back from releasing single-player PlayStation games on PC, with titles such as Ghost of Yotei and Saros now unlikely to appear on the platform.
That approach stands in contrast to the current multiplatform era, where Xbox regularly brings its games to other systems. Sony has generally been more restrained, limiting PC output to years-late ports of PlayStation titles, day-one multiplayer releases on PC, and a one-off Xbox outing with Helldivers 2.
Some projects are still slated for PC: multiplayer games like Marathon and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, along with externally developed PlayStation-published releases such as Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Kena: Scars of Kosmora, are set to arrive on the platform.
Plans are reportedly in flux, so the company’s strategy on PC releases could change again in the future.
