Bloomberg reports that Sony is pulling back from its recent practice of bringing PlayStation exclusives to PC. The first titles said to be affected include Ghost of Yotei and Housemarque’s Saros, both tipped to remain console-only.

The move would mark a reversal of the one-to-two-year PC windows that followed 2020’s Horizon Zero Dawn and similar ports. Still slated to reach PC are Kena: Scars of Kosmora and Death Stranding 2, which reportedly slipped in under the wire.

Hints from Jason Schreier and Digital Foundry’s John Linneman suggested Sony was reconsidering its PC approach, and at least one faction inside the company is said to view PC releases as weakening the brand despite past praise for their profitability.

The article’s author says they would be sad to see the PC releases end and hopes Sony’s porting specialists at Nixxes come through the change unscathed.
