Sophie Turner pictured as Lara Croft as Tomb Raider series enters production

Pcgamer: Amazon has released the first photo of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft and announced that production of its new Tomb Raider show is underway.

The costume follows the upcoming Tomb Raider remake, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, straightforwardly recreating Lara's classic '90s look with the minor tweak that her shorts are black rather than brown. The article says the reveal has gone over more smoothly than Netflix's 2018 first look of Henry Cavill as Geralt, whose wig drew early criticism even though the show's final makeup and costuming looked respectable.
