Space Marine 2 Chapter Voice Pack made free after backlash

Space Marine 2 has enjoyed more longevity than many expected. Developers have expanded the co‑op mode with additional missions, weapons and classes, and added a free Techmarine class less than a month ago. Momentum faltered with the launch of Chapter Voice Pack 1.

Priced at $5, the pack added new voice lines and face options but suffered issues—most notably the default voice returning during mission‑critical conversations—and has drawn overwhelmingly negative reviews on Steam. On March 19, 2026 the developers issued an apology: "We heard your feedback regarding the Chapter Voice Pack DLC and wanted to address it.

It's obvious this DLC has failed to meet your expectations and we are sorry about that.
