Spalletti: Yildiz not yet at nine, Cambiaso must keep running
Juventus beat Udinese 1-0 and return to fourth place for one night, pending the Como–Roma result. Speaking to Sky Sport after the match, manager Luciano Spalletti said the team had maintained the intensity needed to seal the win against a really strong side. On his forwards, Spalletti admitted he would not have put Boga in the centre before but noted the player had done well up front after usually playing on the left.
He added that Yildiz is not entirely comfortable as a striker and "hasn’t yet mastered the art of dealing with the man marking him from behind." During the Sky Sport analysis, pundit Marocchi asked whether Cambiaso causes more problems for opponents or for the manager.
Spalletti replied that if Cambiaso does not run all over the pitch he will not play anymore, and that "if he listens to you, he won’t play anymore." He said it is in Cambiaso’s best interests to run because he is good at playing as a midfielder. Juve kept a clean sheet for the second match running.
