Spend early levels on health and stamina in Crimson Desert
Crimson Desert’s skill tree is massive and full of meaningful upgrades—new attacks, combos, and enhanced uses for magic. Still, it’s often wiser to spend your first Abyss Artifact level-ups on increasing Kliff’s base stamina and health rather than unlocking flashy new skills.
After dying and coming back to life Kliff is a little out of breath, with very little stamina to play with. Stamina is used to run, climb, and fly, so boosting it gives you much more freedom when exploring and helps avoid falling to your death when crossing gaps.
Health and stamina also shape combat: more health lets you take extra hits, which matters against early bosses like Marnie’s Excavatron, Hornsplitter, and Reed Devil. Stamina is needed to block and perform special moves—Swift Stab costs 50 stamina, Charge eats 30 stamina per second, and Spinning Slash needs 30—so you can’t reliably chain flashy combos without some extra stamina.
