Spider-Noir Promo Reveals Sandman, Electro and More Villains
Marketing for Spider-Noir has stepped up with five new posters released by MGM+ and Prime Video ahead of CCXP, scheduled for Apr. 24 to 26 in Mexico City. The images include Ben Reilly/Spider-Noir (Nicolas Cage), Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson) and Cat Hardy (Li Jun Li), the series take on Black Cat, while three others spotlight villains: Jack Huston as Flint Marko/Sandman, Joe Massingill as a reimagined Electro, and Abraham Popoola in a role that shows no powers on his poster.
Deadline's 2024 casting description said Popoola plays a "World War I veteran who is looking for an opportunity to get ahead," leaving room for interpretation. Given the show's gangster and crime elements, some have pointed to Hammerhead—who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #113 (Oct.
