Stardewdle blends Stardew Valley with Wordle in a daily crop guessing game

Stardewdle is a fan-made mashup of Stardew Valley and Wordle that turns the farm sim's crops into a daily guessing challenge. You begin by submitting any crop as a first guess and learn which qualities it shares with the day's pick, including how long the crop takes to grow, pricing, season, type of product, and whether the crop regrows.

I'm not really a Wordle person, but I enjoy themed daily formats, and I gave Stardewdle a go. After getting three of the five possible criteria right on my first guess, I was certain I'd find the answer on my second. I whiffed my second and third guesses and, well… I got the whole damn thing wrong.

All six tries, wasted. I swear I know the difference between a fruit and a vegetable. There are plenty of Wordle-like spins, and I have a soft spot for thoughtful fan-made tributes. A few years ago I was into the now-dead Final Fantasy 14 version of Heardle, which had you guess theme songs after playing a few seconds, and there was also Pufferdle, a Stardew-themed challenge for naming the correct fish.
