Starfield reportedly launching on PS5 on April 7

Dealabs journalist Billbil-kun confirmed long-running rumours that Starfield will arrive on PlayStation 5 next month. The outlet gives an April 7 launch date for the space RPG.

The report says a physical edition will be available at launch in Europe and expects pre-orders to open around March 18, 2026. An earlier report had already suggested a 2026 window for a PS5 release.

Dealabs also shared suggested European prices: the standard edition at €49.99 / £44.99 (about $60) and a Premium Edition at €69.99 / £59.99 (roughly $82). For comparison, the current French prices listed are £80 for the standard edition and £110 for the Premium edition.

Rumours of a PlayStation port date back to before Starfield’s 2023 launch. As Xbox has begun porting more of its catalogue and with Microsoft owning Bethesda since 2021 — and Bethesda releases such as Oblivion Remastered already on PS5 — a PS5 release always seemed likely; the new timing points to April.
