Starlight actor expects mixed reactions to The Boys season 5 finale

Erin Moriarty says fans will have "mixed" feelings about the season 5 finale, and she pins much of that on Homelander. Moriarty plays disillusioned former Seven member Starlight.

"I think it's going to be mixed. You think with The Boys it would just be like, 'Holy fuck,' but I think it's going to be emotional," she said. "There's going to be a lot of shock, there’s going to be a lot of laughter, there's humor. There's everything that you would imagine, but the emotional gravity of it kind of caught me by surprise."

The recently released trailer teases the return of Soldier Boy, Homelander seeking immortality, and a new podcast for The Deep. It's not long now until the final season hits our screens.
