Gamesradar says the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Gen 2 is a modest refresh of the Arctis Nova 7, keeping the same $179.99 / £179.99 price while offering clearer microphone quality and louder, more power-efficient audio.

The headset retains the same core design and 40mm neodymium drivers with a 20–22,000Hz frequency response and 36Ω impedance, but raises sensitivity to 105 dBSPL (up from 93 dBSPL) and improves quoted battery life to 54 hours on 2.4GHz, 42 hours on Bluetooth and 38 hours when both are used simultaneously.

It preserves simultaneous Bluetooth connectivity plus USB-C and 3.5mm wired options and useful onboard controls, yet the review criticises the unchanged fit — including headband pressure and ear-cushion gaps — and calls the wider USB-C wireless dongle shape inconvenient for some devices.

The reviewer concludes the Gen 2 remains a well-rounded mid-range headset and a strong choice if you want dual-device Bluetooth without paying premium prices, but it is not a major redesign and other headsets at this price can offer better comfort or sound.
