Stick to the day job, Ruben! Maya Jama shares Dias' artwork

Maya Jama shared some of Ruben Dias's attempts at artwork after the Manchester City defender treated her for Valentine’s Day while she was back in the UK from filming in South Africa.

The couple enjoyed a romantic meal that included a spot of sketching; Jama was proud of her drawing and less impressed with Dias’s portrait, which was meant to resemble her but left her amused. Although Dias has Premier League and Champions League titles to his name, he proved more skilled with his feet than with a pencil, and the pair jokingly labelled themselves ‘Picasso’ in the making.

They found a window in their schedules to dine together. Dias was on FA Cup duty and was an unused substitute as City beat Salford City 2-0, with Jama among those watching at the Etihad.

Dias welcomed Jama back to Manchester with a bouquet of 100 red roses and a Chanel gift. Jama posted: 'He’s already gone to work and I’ll be going in a bit but was thinking to wear red until I remembered it’s very blue over there! Might not go down too well!'
