People reports that Netflix's Stranger Things is reminding fans that "ALL EPISODES" are now playing, with the show's TikTok and Instagram bios reading "ALL EPISODES OF STRANGER THINGS ARE NOW PLAYING." The series aired its finale on Dec. 31, 2025.

The reminder comes amid a viral fan theory called Conformity Gate, which posits the finale was an illusion and that a secret ninth episode will air on Wednesday, Jan. 7; the show's current social bios, however, debunk that claim.

Actor Noah Schnapp said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published Jan. 6 that he "remember[ed] crying a lot at the final table read" and that creators Matt and Ross Duffer "really left nothing more to be told." Schnapp added that he felt the story was over, that he had made peace with his character's arc, and that he spoke with the Duffers to include a scene in the finale to close his character's storyline. Stranger Things debuted on Netflix in July 2016 and ran for five seasons; the final season's Volumes 1 and 2 arrived on Nov. 26 and Dec. 25, respectively, with the last episode released on New Year's Eve.
