Tulsa King is still topping streaming charts four months after the last season ended, per the tracking website Flix Patrol. In a crowded field where new shows debut constantly, the crime thriller continues to attract both longtime viewers and new fans. Sylvester Stallone stars as Dwight "The General" Manfredi, a fashion-savvy Cosa Nostra caporegime who served 25 years without snitching and was sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Faced with little to no money to be made, Dwight nonetheless builds an empire, drawing jealousy and enemies along the way. The series benefits from being a Taylor Sheridan project and from Stallone’s recognizable name, but its biggest advantage may be filling a gap in modern television for gangster stories in the vein of Peaky Blinders or The Sopranos.

On the role, Stallone said, "This is probably the closest thing that I've ever played to me, which, odd as it may seem to you all, playing yourself is the hardest thing ever." Season 3 showed signs of ailing early but turned out strong, and the season introduced Samuel L.
