Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon gets 'huge' update overhauling Act 3
Patch 1.20 for Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon arrived earlier this week, and Questline calls it "huge". The update is aimed squarely at improving the game's weaker final act. It not only adds content to Act 3 but tweaks many existing locations. The layout of a mountain bandit camp has been adjusted, Alysa's Seacrest Manor has been transformed into a customisable home, and art and level design across the region have been reworked with new terrain and paths to improve exploration and navigation.
A sweeping balance overhaul targets late-game power spikes. Questline found the game became significantly easier during the second half of Act 2 and in Act 3, so more than 20 late-game items were rebalanced and a soft cap for stats now introduces diminishing returns; both changes are optional, and rebalanced weapons arrive as duplicates so players avoid outright nerfs.
Questline says these changes should make the experience more consistent.
