Take-Two CEO says idea AI could create GTA 6 is 'laughable'

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, says that while generative AI will have a place in game development, it is 'laughable' to think it could create something like the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, set to launch in November. On the latest episode of The Game Business he was asked whether AI tools, like Google's Genie, could level the playing field and let anyone build a big-budget GTA-style experience.
