Taylor Frankie Paul looks downcast after losing custody, 'Bachelorette' axed
Taylor Frankie Paul appeared downcast after losing custody of her son Ever and after ABC pulled the plug on her “Bachelorette” season. Photos show her visiting friends in Draper, Utah, where she leaned on them for support and kept a low profile in large sunglasses, a baggy T‑shirt and sweatpants.
In some images she sits in her car deep in conversation with a friend; in others she walks down a friend's driveway, talking expressively and at one point raising her arms. Her ex, Dakota Mortensen, was granted temporary custody of their 2‑year‑old, and Paul will not be able to see Ever until a court hearing on April 7.
The ruling comes as the Draper City Police Department investigates an alleged domestic altercation from last month. ABC axed Season 22 of The Bachelorette after footage of a separate 2023 domestic incident surfaced; that video shows Paul reportedly throwing chairs and one chair appearing to hit her daughter Indy, who was 5 at the time.
