Taylor Frankie Paul says video ‘conveniently omits context’
Taylor Frankie Paul pushed back after a video surfaced showing her attacking ex Dakota Mortensen in front of her child. A spokesperson for the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star said the 2023 recording “conveniently omits context,” calling its release part of Mortensen’s “never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child.” The rep added that doing this on their son Ever’s birthday was “a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior.” TMZ released the clip showing Mortensen, 33, recording Paul, 31, as she hit him and tossed chairs during the 2023 altercation.
In the video Mortensen repeatedly told Paul that her daughter Indy was in the room; Indy, who was 3 at the time, was heard crying and was later allegedly struck in the head with a metal chair. Paul can be heard telling Mortensen to back away from her daughter and later told responding officers that Mortensen had thrown her to the ground moments before he began recording.
