Taylor Sheridan's 'Lioness' Roars Up Streaming Charts Ahead of Season 3

After two years without new episodes, Taylor Sheridan's spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness has climbed the streaming charts as audiences await an explosive return. The series originally premiered in July 2023 and has gained fresh attention as production on a third season ramps up.

Created by Sheridan, Lioness introduced Zoe Saldaña as CIA agent Joe McNamara, who leads a black-ops team of female operatives inspired by a real-life U.S. military program. The cast also includes Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett and James Jordan, with Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman among the featured names.

The first season divided critics, and while the second fared far better it has remained an underrated entry in Sheridan's catalogue.
