Taylor Sheridan’s Those Who Wish Me Dead Returns to VOD Top 10
Collider reports that Taylor Sheridan’s 2021 thriller Those Who Wish Me Dead has surged back into the VOD top 10 in several countries worldwide, despite not currently streaming anywhere at the time of writing. The film stars Angelina Jolie (Maria) and Jon Bernthal (His & Hers) and follows a survival expert tasked with protecting a teenager who witnessed a murder.
The picture received a divisive reception on release, holding a 63% critics score and an 86% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It grossed $19 million at the box office, and budgeting information has not been made public; although it has been estimated to have cost around $20 million, that figure has never been confirmed.
Sheridan is best known for creating neo-Western TV series such as Yellowstone and Landman but began his feature career with a 2015 writing debut on Sicario and has worked on films including Hell or High Water and Wind River. The article says he is working on another movie coming to theaters next year, and his next titled F.A.S.T. is scheduled for release on April 13, 2027; he is also writing a Call of Duty movie before he leaves Paramount. Those Who Wish Me Dead is available on VOD platforms such as Prime Video.
