Ted stars recall Dungeons & Dragons episode in Season 2
Released as a binge-drop on March 5, Seth MacFarlane and Max Burkholder reunited for a second season of Ted on Peacock. The show acts as a prequel to MacFarlane's two Ted movies from 2012 and 2015, showing the creator's talking teddy bear, Ted, and Burkholder's teenage John Bennett as they work their way through the challenges and struggles of high school life in the mid-1990s, even including a wild scene featuring former U.S.
President Bill Clinton. One of this season's funniest episodes has Ted, John and the Bennett family diving into a game of the classic tabletop role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons to earn money for drugs. The cast embraced the idea, and stars Max Burkholder and Giorgia Wingham reflected on filming the Dungeons-and-Dragons-centric episode.
Wingham said, "Well, this is very much up Max's alley, because he is the biggest 'Dungeons and Dragons' fan." Burkholder added, "I wanted to let her answer first. There's no part of it that was fun that was unexpected for me.
