Tell us about your favourite UK spring activity or day out
After a long, grey winter, the first signs of spring are starting to appear. Tell us about your favourite days out in the UK to celebrate the change of season and the arrival of longer, brighter days. Suggestions include blossom trails and tulip displays in beautiful gardens, birdwatching, bike rides, food festivals and farm visits to see newborn lambs.
Keep your tip to about 100 words; if you have a photo, send it too, but it’s your words that will be judged. The best tip of the week, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, wins a £200 voucher to stay at a Coolstays property — the company has more than 3,000 worldwide.
Winning and selected tips will appear in the Travel section and on the website. The competition is open only to UK residents and closes on Monday 16 March at 10am GMT. Share your tip using the form below; responses can be anonymous, the form is encrypted and only we have access to your contribution.
