Manchester United extended their unbeaten start to 2026 with a deserved Women's Super League victory over Leicester at the King Power Stadium. Julia Zigiotti Olme was central to the win, creating the opener and later setting up the second, while Elisabeth Terland came off the bench to finish the game late on.

The opening goal arrived after 13 minutes when Zigiotti Olme’s cross, intended for Lea Schuller, slipped past Olivia Clark at the far post. United dominated possession in Leicester’s half but failed to add to their lead before half-time, despite Melvine Malard being denied twice and Hanna Lundkvist heading over from a corner.

Marc Skinner introduced Fridolino Rolfo and Terland after the break, and substitutes continued to trouble Leicester. Simi Araujo forced a strong save from Clark and Terland hit the post with a header before finally sealing the result, finishing low across goal after Zigiotti Olme won the ball high and fed her.
