People reports that a Texas man, Stephen Harmon (who uses the handle @cowboyatheart82), filmed himself riding a horse through a Target store and posted the clip online.

The footage, shared on Instagram earlier this month with the caption "Taking A Horse Inside Target," shows Harmon riding a full-sized horse while a companion filmed. Some customers appeared amused — one briefly stopped to pet the animal — while employees tried to intervene, with voices shouting "What are you doing?" and telling him to leave. The horse defecated on the floor multiple times as Harmon continued through the aisles before exiting; one worker could be heard saying a horse did not belong inside the store.

The video circulated widely on social media, drawing millions of views and mixed reactions as users debated whether the stunt was humorous or unfair to store workers. Commenters criticized leaving the mess for staff ("That’s so rude and disrespectful to leave for someone else to have to clean") and asked, "Now who cleaned up the horse? Not going to lie, I’d be really upset about that." According to his social media, this was not Harmon’s first in-store ride — a previous video showed him entering a Tractor Supply location, where a manager called the stunt a liability and asked him to leave. The report does not say who cleaned up the Target mess or whether the store took further action.
