The Housemaid Gets Streaming Release Date

A few months after its digital debut in February, Sydney Sweeney's erotic thriller The Housemaid will arrive on streaming. Lionsgate has announced it will be available on the Starz app starting Apr. 1.

The film was one of the biggest surprise hits at the box office last year, grossing $395 million during its theatrical run.

Directed by Paul Feig, The Housemaid stars Sweeney alongside Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone and Elizabeth Perkins.

The film opened on December 19, 2025, runs 131 minutes, and credits Rebecca Sonnenshine and Freida McFadden as writers; producers include Todd Lieberman, Paul Feig, Millie Calloway and Nina Winchester.
