The Mummy 4 Gets May 19, 2028 Release Date; Fraser and Weisz Return

Fans of The Mummy rejoiced when Universal announced last year that Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz would return for a new entry in the franchise. The studio has now set a release date: May 19, 2028.

The film will be directed by the filmmaking collective Radio Silence, who previously worked on 2024's Abigail, a loose remake of 1936's Dracula's Daughter.

The new release arrives almost 30 years after the original film premiered in 1999. The studio still has a long way to go before the movie is complete, so audiences should expect to wait more than two years to see it.
