Netflix’s dad-thriller lane often follows a predictable arc: a new season arrives, it storms the streaming Top 10, then either retains viewers or fades as the casual audience moves on. The Night Agent is now showing that shift from dominance to a more lingering presence globally.

FlixPatrol’s rankings for last week show the Gabriel Basso thriller sliding in several markets. Australia sits at number 10 after hovering between seven and nine earlier in the week; Canada has fallen out of the top 10 after previously landing at nine and ten; Belgium and France hold the ninth spot, and the U.S.

has dropped off after bouncing around nine and ten. The series has already disappeared from charts in Bangladesh, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and other territories. The timing makes the slide notable: Netflix renewed the series for Season 4 on March 6, 2026, but a week later the renewal hadn’t sparked a clear second wave, with the show stabilizing in the lower end of the Top 10 where finished-season titles typically land.
