The Pitt Reaches 50 Days in HBO Max’s U.S. Top Ten
The medical drama The Pitt has reached a new streaming milestone, spending 50 consecutive days in the U.S. top ten on HBO Max across all Amazon channels. The series has been on the air just over a year and is currently halfway through its second season. Alongside its streaming success, The Pitt collected major awards at The Actor Awards (formerly the Screen Actors Guild Awards), winning Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series while Noah Wyle took the prize for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.
The show’s trophy case also includes three Astra TV Awards, three Primetime Emmys, three Critics’ Choice Television Awards and two Golden Globes. The 50-day streak was recorded across a wide spectrum of platforms, a pattern of sustained viewing that typically marks the most popular series.
Ahead of Season 2’s premiere the show was renewed for a third season; Wyle said, "We’re just about to go back into the writing room for Season 3.
