Inter Miami’s new arrivals have produced a mixed picture. Micael has shown promising individual moments and goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair is still finding his feet after a rough first game, while German Berterame has so far been a baffling fit; there’s an acclimation period, but the new signings all have work to do.

Several teams have surprised early on. The New York Red Bulls have started strongly under Michael Bradley, and the San Jose Earthquakes have looked dangerous, scoring freely with Tim Werner contributing off the bench and Niko Tsakiris emerging. LAFC appear very good up front with Denis Bouanga and Son Heung-Min, though questions remain about defensive balance despite tactical tweaks such as using David Martinez higher up the pitch.

Views differ on Josh Sargent’s standing among MLS strikers: one take places him below names like Sam Surridge, Kevin Denkey, Denis Bouanga and others, while another rates him comfortably in the top five and a likely 15-goal option if healthy.
