The Terminal List Season 2: Confirmation, Plot and Cast
After a four-year gap, details are emerging about Season 2 of The Terminal List. The action-thriller stars Chris Pratt as James Reece, an ex-US Navy SEAL who spent Season 1 tracking and avenging those responsible for an ambushed squadron and the deaths of his family.
The series also spawned a prequel, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which premiered in August 2025. Amazon officially renewed the show for a second season in February 2023, and Pratt has expressed enthusiasm about returning to the role. Production reportedly began between March and the fall of 2025, and by all accounts filming has wrapped and the season is now in post-production.
Season 2 will adapt Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer. In that book Reece is pulled out of hiding after a massive terrorist attack and becomes a reluctant tool of the U.S. government, traveling the globe to target terrorist leaders while unraveling a conspiracy that exposes a traitorous CIA officer and a worldwide assassination plot.
