The Testaments trailer reveals Hannah’s life inside Gilead after The Handmaid’s Tale
A new trailer for The Testaments, Hulu's sequel to The Handmaid's Tale, arrived Thursday and previews life inside Gilead after the events of the earlier series. Adapted from Margaret Atwood's 2019 novel, the show follows Agnes (Chase Infiniti), a girl in a prep school for future wives.
Viewers will recognize her as June Osborne's daughter Hannah, who was taken into Gilead and renamed Agnes Mackenzie. The trailer opens with Agnes describing a childhood dollhouse, set to The Cranberries' "Dreams," an almost joyful tone that swiftly turns dark when she and her friends find dead bodies strung on a wall.
