Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans has reached 240.8 million streaming hours
Collider's Amanda M. Castro reports that The Thundermans, the Nickelodeon family superhero series that debuted in 2013, has accumulated 240.8 million hours of streaming and is no longer a hidden gem.
The show follows the Thunderman family in Hiddenville — twins Phoebe and Max at the center, parents Hank and Barb, and younger siblings Billy, Nora and later Chloe — and was initially met with lukewarm reviews. Its simple, episodic premise, frequent use of powers and ease of entry helped it find a new audience after arriving on Netflix in late 2021, and that streaming momentum led to The Thundermans Return in 2024, the spin-off The Thundermans: Undercover and the series becoming Nickelodeon’s longest-running live-action show outside its main creative pipeline with over 100 episodes.
What comes next: a third installment is currently scheduled for release in 2026 and an additional movie is in production, while the series — which ended in 2018 — continues to accumulate streaming hours; the report does not provide further release or plot details for those projects.
