The Way Home: Perfect Netflix weekend binge before its April return
Hallmark's family-centered dramedy The Way Home is now three seasons in, with its fourth and final season airing this coming April. The first three seasons are available to stream on Netflix, making now an ideal time to catch up before the series concludes. The story begins when Kat Landry Dhawan (Chyler Leigh) faces a series of upheavals: her teenage daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) is expelled after pulling a school fire alarm, Kat loses the journalism job she loves, and a heartfelt letter from her estranged mother, Del Landry (Andie MacDowell), prompts a move back to the family farm in Port Haven.
The Landry–Dhawan women are coping with old wounds—Kat's missing brother Jacob (Remy Smith) and the death of her father, Colton (Jefferson Brown)—until Alice discovers a pond on the property that transports her to 1999, a time before many of the family's tragedies.
Only Alice, Kat and Kat's childhood friend Elliot (Evan Williams) know the pond's secret.
