'The White Lotus' Season 4 Adds Kumail Nanjiani, Chloe Bennet & More

Season 4 of The White Lotus, set in France, has added Kumail Nanjiani and Chloe Bennet to its ensemble, along with Max Greenfield, Charlie Hall and Jarrad Paul. Previously announced cast members include Sandra Bernhard, Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Cassel and Steve Coogan.

The pairing is notable because Nanjiani and Bennet come from different corners of the Marvel universe: Nanjiani starred in Eternals, while Bennet became known as Daisy Johnson, also called Quake, on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. emphasized the more everyday figures of S.H.I.E.L.D.

and introduced the Inhumans storyline that made Bennet's character central to the series' arc. Eternals, directed by Chloé Zhao and featuring a high-profile cast, fell short of expectations, earning $402.1 million worldwide and a 47% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
