This carbon fibre mouse is ludicrously expensive
The Corsair Sabre V2 Pro Wireless CF is a sturdy, comfortable, and capable gaming mouse, but it is held back by an eye-watering $200 price tag and a weight that is far from ultralight. Corsair’s original Sabre V2 Pro weighed 36 g and cost $100; the carbon fibre version comes in at 55 g and sits $100 higher, with a magnesium alternative priced between them.
Its carbon fibre shell feels very rigid and comfortable, and the mouse uses the same Marksman S sensor and wireless dongle as the standard Sabre V2 Pro, delivering excellent wireless consistency. You also get Bluetooth connectivity and a long 120-hour battery life, while the package includes a carry case, replacement feet, cable, and grip stickers.
There are notable compromises for the price. Mechanical switches remain instead of optical, the UPE skates feel slower than some PTFE alternatives, and the carbon fibre texture won’t appeal to everyone.
