Young Sherlock has risen to the top of Prime Video’s TV rankings this week. The British mystery reimagines Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective as an unruly 19-year-old at Oxford; it was created by Matthew Parkhill and developed by Peter Harness and Guy Ritchie, drawing on Andrew Lane’s Young Sherlock Holmes books.

Expats (2024), created and directed by Lulu Wang and adapted from Janice Y. K. Lee’s novel The Expatriates, follows three American women living in Hong Kong after a terrible tragedy. The series stars Nicole Kidman, Sarayu Blue, and Ji-young Yoo, with Brian Tee, Tiana Gowen, Bodhi del Rosario, Ruby Ruiz, Amelyn Pardenilla, and Jack Huston in supporting roles.

Despite controversies around its production, the show earned favorable reviews and is noted for its quietly powerful, character-driven performances—especially from its leading trio. We Were Liars (2025–Present) is a psychological thriller developed by Julie Plec and Carina Adly Mackenzie from E.
