Three years after its 2023 release, Guy Ritchie’s military thriller The Covenant is gaining traction on digital platforms despite a modest box office. Critics give the film 82% on Rotten Tomatoes while audiences rate it at 98%. Set during the war in Afghanistan, the story follows a local interpreter who risks his life to carry an injured sergeant across miles of grueling terrain.

The film earned $21.9 million worldwide against a $55 million budget. Although The Covenant is absent from subscription streaming in the U.S. and abroad, it has surged into the VOD top 10 in several countries and ranks among the most popular purchases on Apple TV and Prime Video.

It can be found on VOD platforms such as Prime Video in America. Ritchie has reunited with lead Jake Gyllenhaal on his next film, In the Grey, due May 15.
