Tiger Woods Celebrates 50th in Palm Beach, Reportedly Raises $50 Million
People reports Tiger Woods celebrated his 50th birthday on Jan. 14 at the Breakers Palm Beach, attending a gala that also served as the TGR Foundation’s 30th anniversary fundraiser and that reportedly raised roughly $50 million for charity. Woods, who turned 50 on Dec. 30, was joined at the event by girlfriend Vanessa Trump and her daughter Kai.
About 300 guests attended the “Touch of Red”–themed evening, and entertainer Jon Bon Jovi performed. “Tiger was with Vanessa but also busy talking to people he knows from the charity,” a source said, and another source described “some serious partying going down all night” among philanthropists and high-profile guests. The ballroom was decorated with ambient lighting and golf props, and guests dined on sea bass, filet mignon, crab cakes, charcuterie and desserts.
The couple have been dating since last March and went public on social media weeks later, and sources say they are “very happy” and “in this relationship for the long haul.” A third source close to the relationship said the pair are very much in love and “have a lot in common with each other and with their kids.”
