TikTok global marketing lead Sofia Hernandez is leaving
Sofia Hernandez, TikTok's global head of marketing and commercial partnerships, is leaving the company. Will Liu, global business solutions lead, named Isobel Sita-Lumsden, a UK-based executive, as her successor in an internal memo. Hernandez spent nearly six years at TikTok and ByteDance, initially focusing on marketing tied to the advertising business before expanding into consumer marketing.
Before joining TikTok she was chief customer officer at Suzy and previously worked at a creative agency within Publicis Groupe. In a LinkedIn post she confirmed her exit and wrote: "Choosing to rest is not stepping out of the game. It takes clarity and confidence to step back long enough to recharge your body, reset your thinking, and expand your vision." Sita-Lumsden has focused on off-platform marketing partnerships and social.
