Timothée Chalamet shares Instagram look at Golden Globes night after win
People reports that on Monday, Jan 12 Timothée Chalamet shared an Instagram carousel giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at his night at the Golden Globes, where he won the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy award for Marty Supreme; he attended the Jan 11 ceremony with his girlfriend of three years, Kylie Jenner.
The carousel includes a slide of Chalamet kissing his golden trophy, two frames of him holding the award aloft, a photo with Marty Supreme director Josh Safdie and a shot taken from the vantage point of his table at the ceremony where he delivered his acceptance speech. He captioned the post, “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! SO TREMENDOUSLY GRATEFUL!!!!!!”
Chalamet won for his portrayal of table tennis star Marty Mauser, triumphing over George Clooney (Jay Kelly), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Lee Byung-hun (No Other Choice) and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia). In his speech he named his parents and his “partner,” and said, "My dad instilled in me a spirit of gratitude growing up... For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much." A clip shared by Access Hollywood showed Jenner mouthing, "I'm so happy," and Vanity Fair footage showed her by his side as his name was engraved; she later shared a snap holding his Golden Globe the next day.
